Ian Michael Clements

Born and raised in Newfoundland, lan later made Alberta his home, where he built a life full of adventure, hard work, and love. lan was a man who embraced life to the fullest - whether he was out on the water boating, golfing on a sunny day, riding his Harley, skydiving from thousands of feet above, rebuilding his classic truck, or travelling and making beautiful memories with his family.

lan approached everything with fearless enthusiasm. A true daredevil at heart. he never backed down from a challenge and inspired everyone around him to live boldly.

lan's greatest joy came from time spent with his friends and family, he was the best father to his daughter Logan. He was a loyal friend, a trusted mentor, and a force to be reckoned with. there was never a problem he couldn't solve, never a question he couldn't answer, and he was always just a phone call away.

He leaves behind his soulmate Cindy, his daughter and "little twin" Logan, and his faithful dog Bailey.

He will be deeply missed by his mother Wanda (Barry), his sister Julie (Gus), nieces and nephews Kevin (Robyn), Zack (Brianna), Katie (Allan), Lucas, Morgan, Georgia, and his great-niece Myla Grace. Also leaving behind Cindys mother and father, Phyllis and Junior O’leary, her sisters Lynn (Ralph), and Pam. along with a large circle of family and friends in both Newfoundland and Alberta.

lan also leaves behind his Lafarge family, including coworkers he deeply valued, especially his team.

Ian was predeceased by his father, Michael "Mike" Clements (2020)

A heartfelt thank you goes out to his dear friend Ryan, whose courageous efforts to perform lifesaving measures until paramedics arrived will never be forgotten.

lan's legacy will live on in the countless lives he touched and the memories of his laughter, determination, and adventurous spirit.

As per the family’s wishes there will be no funeral held, and there will be a small private celebration of life on a later date - in lieu of flowers donations can be made in Ian’s memory to Cindy at [email protected]
