Ruth was a really great neighbor to my mom and was so helpful when I could not be there in person. She took mom to some doctors appointments and for other things she needed.

We got to spend a little time with Ruth when we visited with my wife, daughter and son. She was so welcoming to our entire little family.

I will remember her as kind, genuine and caring. She went on  and on about her amazing family.

I was so privileged to be counted as someone she called a friend and a colleague. 

Ruth was the making of me as a nurse and a person in many ways. I miss her so already. She never held back in directing me to the best of myself and pointing out the best in others and situations.

Elnora, Ruth and I worked together in the Alberta Association of Independent Practice Nurses- where she and Elnora were founding members. What a woman, and ever the consummate professional!

She will be so missed.  My condolences to the family and friends of dear Ruth.

Marjorie (Day- class of 1966) Benson

Ruth and I were Calgary General Hospital classmates.  We worked on Paediatrics following graduation in 1966.  When we went to the University of Alberta in Edmonton we were roommates while we got our Public Health Diploma.  We teamed up again as roommates in Regina where she worked with VON.  She had so many varied nursing experiences.  She was a special lady and will be missed.  My condolences to her family.

Ruth was my second cousin. I remember looking forward  to family get togethers with the Grahams. Ruth was always cheerful and fun to talk to. I know she will be missed by many.  My condolences to the family.

We didn't get to see Ruth often but enough that we learned what a beautiful human she was.  Always so happy to see you even if it was a long time since the last visit.  She was genuine in every good thing a person can be.  I appreciated her support and offer to use the guest condo in her complex in Edmonton when our grandson was born premature in a hospital near her.  I will always cherish that week with her.  We didn't get much time but I got to know her a little better.  I know she will be hugely missed by Phil, Judy, Jackie, Alison and Candice their families and the rest of her clan.  The world has lost a true angel.

So very sorry for your loss.  Ruth was a real lady who was so sweet and had a good sense of humor.  Larry and I always enjoyed her company.

Ruth and I served on the Condo Board together for a few years.  She was always a cheerful person and would drop by for coffee with our Tuesday Ladies Coffee Group occasionally.  I remember her telling me about nursing in Newfoundland which she very much enjoyed.  Sincere condolences to her family.  She will be missed by so many.  May she rest in peace.

Auntie Ruth told me, when I was younger I said “Auntie Ruth…. We have the same initials ARG. You’re Auntie Ruth Graham and I’m Alison Ruth Graham”
