Jackie had a strong work ethic and was a dedicated employee for the Bank of Montreal and Symcor for her entire adult life until she retired. She resided in Birdland in Surrey, BC for over 45 years, enjoyed nature, walking, hiking and gardening, spent her time relaxing by reading books, word fill-ins and saduko. She loved dolphins, which she had a tattoo of one jumping out of the water on her left shoulder and had a dream of swimming with them, which came true this past August. She loved her friends and family and would do anything to help and support the ones she loved. She was the type of friend everyone wishes they could have in their life. She had the ability to know when she was needed and would help before ever being asked. She was a loving parent and loved being a grandparent to her six grandchildren. She was the type of grandparent that would sit on the floor, play games and puzzles for hours, play in the mud and jump in the sprinkler with her grandkids. She was the life of the party and had a loud bold laugh that couldn’t and shouldn’t be quieted! Jackie gave an everlasting impression, lived life to the fullest, and danced as though no one was watching everyday of her life. Even in her most challenging times of her illness she was concerned how everyone else was and how they were coping. She loved her puppies(nursemaids) Summer, Tyson, Sugar and Farley.
