Jack passed away peacefully on Monday, April 3, 2017 after a long and happy life. Though his death came long before we were ready to say farewell, we rejoice that such a remarkable man has been part of our lives. He will remain in our hearts forever.
In 1947 he married the love of his life Gert Armstrong and together they raised a daughter and a son. Gert, his wife of 66 years, passed away in 2014 and although he never complained life was never the same after Gert died. Their reunion in heaven will be a celebration.
Jack is survived by his loving daughter Robin (Doug) and son Jack (Maggie). He is also survived by his sisters-in-law Phyllis Armstrong and Dorrie Armstrong.
As per his wishes he will be cremated. A private celebration of family and close friends will be held at a later date.
