Joseph "Joe" Rago

March 26, 1948 – January 25, 2012

It is with extreme sadness, the family of Joseph Rago, who was born in, Zungoli, Avellino, Italy, announce his passing on January 25, 2012 at the age of 63 years.

Joe is survived by his loving wife Diana, son Jason, daughters Jennifer (Chad) Jackson, and Tania (Robert) Hryciuk, grandchildren Collin, Hayley, Natalya, Nikolas and Nathan, 2 sisters Erminia (Tony) Maraia; Lucia (Domenico) Italiano and 1 brother Nunzio Rago. Joe is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in law, and friends. Joe was predeceased by his mother Carmela Intoccia, father Costantino Rago and 1 sister Enza Filomeno.

A Funeral Mass for Joe will take place on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Annunciation Catholic Church, 9420-163 Street, Edmonton, AB at 10:30 am. Inurnment to follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum, 14611 Mark Messier Trail, Edmonton, AB.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe’s memory may be made directly to the Haying in the 30’s Cancer Support Society, Box 35, Mallaig, AB T0A 2K0.
