Surrounded by her family, in the comfort of her own home Josie passed away on April 18th 2023 at the age of 84.
Left to mourn are her husband Bob of 62 years and their two sons James (Corrinda) and Dennis. She also leaves behind her sister Jean (Peter) and three nieces Sharon, Shelley, Susan and their families.
Josie grew up on the farm in the Elk Point area then came to Edmonton where she graduated from nursing at the Royal Alexandra Hospital and made Edmonton her permanent home. After illness forced an early retirement, her nursing background allowed Josie to keenly research and assist her with managing her own health problems and to enhance the wellness of her family.
Josie was predeceased by her parents Mike and Katie and her sister Betty.
In keeping with Josie’s wishes there will be no funeral services. Cremation will take place on Tuesday the 25, 2023.
