Born and raised in Aabenraa, Denmark, Karen immigrated to Edmonton, Alberta 68 years ago.
She loved to spend time in the kitchen, cooking delicious meals and hosting gatherings and parties for her friends and family. She touched the lives of so many with her unconditional love, generosity and kindness.
Karen is predeceased by her husband Karl, who left this world in 2004. She is survived by her daughter Elisabeth and her son-in-law Henry, her granddaughter Laurie, and her great grandchildren Katherine and Vincent.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Karen’s name to Capital Care Lynnwood, whose staff took such good care of her.
