Kenny was bigger than life and a light in the world—fearless, kind-hearted, lovable, and generous. He had a rare gift for making people laugh and feel comfortable, heard, and included. He never minded looking foolish if it meant bringing fun to the moment or lifting someone up when they were down. Even as a child, Kenny would try anything, meeting life with courage and an open spirit.
An outdoorsman at heart, Kenny loved playing sports and being outside, especially in the summer. He enjoyed camping and spending time at the lake, and he had a passion for trucks, mountain bikes, and anything he could ride. Despite an often intimidating stature, Kenny was the sweetest presence—children, animals, and friends naturally gravitated to him, and he made time for them all. If Kenny liked you or loved you, you knew it. His energy could shift the atmosphere in a room.
Kenny remembered the little things and went out of his way to make others feel special and loved. He would help anyone, whether he knew them or not, and he offered those closest to him an ear to listen without judgement, a shoulder to cry on, or a big, safe hug that left people feeling cared for and steadied. Kenny wasn’t only tall in stature; he had a big, loving heart, and he will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by many.
Kenny is survived by his mother, Sheri; father, Dennis; brother, Kody; grandfather, Kenneth; uncle, George; and those who surrounded Kenny and were like family to him in Fort MacMurray, AB. He was predeceased by his grandmother Florence Lintner and Uncle Randy.
A celebration of Kenny's life will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 1:00pm to 4:00 pm at Lakewood Community League Hall, 260 Lakewood Road, Edmonton, AB.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA or to your local animal rescue shelter in Kenny's memory.
