Kevin John Simpson

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin John Simpson, of Edmonton, Alberta, on Friday, August 29, 2025, at the age of 67.

Kevin was born on September 15, 1957, in Regina, Saskatchewan. As a young child, he moved with his family to Edmonton, where he would spend the rest of his life.

A true entrepreneur at heart, Kevin had a passion for collecting and selling. He operated a booth at the local flea market, where he built lasting friendships and enjoyed spending much of his time.

Above all, Kevin’s greatest pride and joy were his two children, Ryan and Amanda, whom he lovingly raised as a single father. His devotion to them was unwavering, and he cherished the families they built.

Kevin is survived by his children, Ryan (Michelle) and Amanda (Patrick); his beloved grandchildren, Megan, Morgan, Declan, Zachary, Cooper, and Lincoln; and his brothers, Rand and Kirk Simpson.

He was predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Linda Simpson, and his brother, Patrick Stack.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kevin’s memory to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories.
