She lived a full 35 years collecting hearts. Her love of travel saw great friendships made with friends here and afar. Leah loved hard. Her niece Gabrelle and nephews Gavin, Bentley, Sawyer, Eric and Charlie brought her so much joy! She adored her siblings; Brent (Jenn), Jason, Jill (Chad), Lawrence, Katherine, Nathaniel, Lee, Trishla, Michelle, Serandon, R..J. and Rodney. She enjoyed and loved all the kids that have been in our home. They had some wonderful adventures together.
She loved working with children and knew that was her calling. From working in schools to private homes and facilities she was always around children. Leah was a fun loving person that wasn’t afraid to tell you what she thought. She was funny and made awkward and hard situations easier with jokes. She had a love of being outdoors, camping and fishing, with her dog, Boss. Her happy place was under the sky, especially during a thunderstorm. She is gone way too soon and we will miss her every day.
Leah had left a note on her pillowcase which in part said…
“I have had so many forever loves in my life …. so blessed. I truly am appreciative of all of you.”
She wanted to know if we had any message for our loved ones waiting for her, Grandma and Grandpa Anderson, Grandma and Grandpa Manchul, Rob, Patrick, Uncle Ron and Uncle Guy. We told her to tell them we celebrate them every day as we will her.
A special love and thank you to her Auntie Sandy and Jill who were nonstop in supporting Leah’s hospital stay and great support for Mark and I. Thanks also to Brent, Jenn, Jason, Chad and Katherine, our friends, her friends, our amazing community, the Anderson and Manchul CREWS … who were always and forever loving our girl.
Love you our precious girl, to the moon and back ….
