Leanne Michelle Kirkland

It is with much sadness and heavy hearts that we, the family of Leanne Kirkland announce her sudden passing on January 23rd, 2025 at the age of 52 years.

Leanne was known for her kind heart, contagious laughter, and mischievous look in her eyes. She loved a good party, especially the family gatherings!! From her early school years Leanne was a talented writer of stories and poems and later adding her many affirmations and filling many journals.

Despite her painful debilitating physical condition of the last few years, Leanne continued to find joy in life and find something to make her put that beautiful smile on her face. We will miss that smile terribly!!

Leanne is survived by her loving parents Doug and Teri, her brother Gregg and Sister-in-Law Karen, Nephews Tristan and Kane, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins and Friends.

Leanne is predeceased by her Nephew Kaden, and much loved grandparents Glen and Doreen Kirkland, and Vic and Heddy Stukoski.

A Celebration of Life for Leanne will be held Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Memories Funeral Home and Crematorium, 13403 St Albert Trail, Edmonton, Alberta.
