Margaret Elizabeth Johnson

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Margaret Elizabeth Johnson, who suddenly passed away on May 27, 2025 at the age of 58 in her home in Edmonton Alberta.

Born on April 11, 1967 in Pincher Creek, Margaret spent much of her younger years in southern Alberta and later built a life filled with strength, kindness and grace to establish her home in Edmonton.

Margaret was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend. She dedicated her life to her family and touched the hearts of everyone she met with her compassion, wisdom and unwavering love. She had a special gift for cooking, being fastidious and her presence brought comfort and joy to those around her.

She is survived by her husband, Doug Johnson; her children, Dartanion (Jayson) Johnson, Phiefer Johnson, Rumour (Brandon) Baldock and Talon (Jade) Johnson; her grandchildren, Elizabeth and Aliza; and her brothers, James Beaton and Clark Horvath. Her pets, Timber, Sesna, Easy, and Luigi will greatly miss her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Olive Beaton, and father, John Horvath.

We would like to thank all that attended her funeral at Memories Funeral Home on June 6, 2025 to celebrate her remarkable life.

Her warmth, laughter, and love will remain in our hearts forever.

May she rest in peace.
