Elaine & Raymond -
I was very saddened to learn of Marie's passing.  Marie and I had many good times during the seventies and eighties going to clubs, many functions and activities, ski trips, and a trip to California and then Puerto Vallarta in 1986.  We went to Royal Pizza and many restaurants where I remember Marie always brushing her teeth in the restroom after meals.  I also enjoyed the times spent at Alberta Beach with her, Elaine and other friends.  My deepest condolences for your loss.

In the name of the three Hermary families originating in Red Deer, I wish to extend condolences to Louise (Lefebvre) Davis, to the family of the late Bob Lefebvre, to Jeanne (Lefebvre) and Wally Brauer and family, to   Elaine Lefebvre and to Raymond Lefebvre  upon the passing of their dear sister. Marie Lefebvre.  
Many years have passed since family reunions brought us all together. Your Grandmother Mathilde (Hermary) Lefebvre and our Grandfather Emile were siblings who immigrated from France.
Now, three and four generations later, we still reminisce with fondness,  those happy times of gathering, and socializing  with such love  and joy!
Along with these memories, I want to assure you  of our sympathy in your loss. You are very present in our thoughts and prayers.

Marie was always friendly to her step-nieces and nephews. She visited our family a few times in Peace River with her parents when we were younger. I remember walking downtown with her a Raymond to go for a pop, a real treat for me in those days! She was a lady who took pride in her appearance and was so put together. My favorite memory was one time when I visited them in Edmonton as an older teenager. She had been asked to join a ball team and had never played ball. She was lefthanded and had bought a glove for her left hand. I asked her how the game went and she said it was annoying having to catch the ball, take off her glove and throw the ball in. I was a ball player so proceeded to give her a quick lesson. I told her she needed to buy a glove for her right hand. We had a good laugh over that one. Over the last many years, I only saw her a few times- at funerals. She was always the same, friendly, smiling Marie. My sincere condolences to her family and friends and especially her big sister Elaine. May this next journey be an easy one.

I was shocked  and saddened to read of my  half-sister's death.  She was a gentle and loving person who always tried to do her best dealing with much sadness in her life.  She had a large and supportive family who loved her and will miss her even if they were not together often.  She leaves to mourn, beside her sister Elaine,  her half sisters Louise, Jeanne, and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her half brother Robert and both parents.  Rest in Peace dear Marie.  Our deepest condolences to Elaine.

My sincere condolences to the family of Marie  Lefebvre.  She was a loyal and hard working secretary/receptionist in the U of A OT Department where I was the manager of OT services for psychiatry. Her voice still rings in my ear to this day: "occupational therapy, Marie speaking".  I hope she rests in peace.
