Mervyn Dale Abrams

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mervyn Dale Abrams. Merv was predeceased by his Father, Dale and his mother Joan Abrams, Grandfather Edward Baily and Mother In-law Marlene Lewis.

He will be lovingly remembered by his rock, confidant, and wife Terri, his sisters Amber (Brandon) and their children Ayden, Emerson, Shea and Averie. His sister Anda and her son, Garnet, as well as his aunts and uncles and cousins from both sides of the Baily and Abrams families.

Mervyn often bragged about how proud he was to have found acceptance in Terri’s family and being able to fill the role of the “cool” uncle to Kate-Lyn, Sofia, Kerissa and Luke. “Grandpa” Merv to her son Justen’s children Gabriel and Kaliana along with their mothers 3 other children, Caleb, Matthias and Victoria. As well as a brother to Danny (Lisa), Carley (Phillip), and Kimmy (Roger).

Mervyn’s personality was big enough it could fill a room, and you could feel the energy shift the second he walked through the door.

He will be remembered as a proud Union man and electrician. As he aged he learned to appreciate both the finer things in life and adopt a slower pace thanks to the kind and watchful eyes of his friends and mentors like Terri’s father Brad Dad and his Uncle Tom.

Mervyn lived his life doing what he wanted, and without fear. He always made the most of his down time, but it always involved either water or gasoline. Whether he was putting his feet up on days off or a vacation, road tripping with family and friends, riding his motorcycles, camping, or hanging out with his friends and family, he was never far from a pool, a river, a lake or an ocean.

Wherever he roamed, and whomever he was with, a good time was sure to be found.
