Rays is truly missed.  She was a strong and loving woman.  Can’t believe she is gone.

Where to begin about memories of a woman I called my second mother, Raye was in my life since I met Randy in kindergarten and that was almost 37 years ago now. Most of the time I seldom called her Raye it was always “mom” I was around to watch her raise 4 good men that truly held her in the highest regard. She was tough when she had to be and also one of the kindest people I’ve ever known. Sitting down and talking with Raye especially in my adult years I’d wonder where the time went as she was always so warm and kindhearted. I’ve shed many a tear now not just because she is gone but also because I’ve watched 4 men I consider brothers lose the most important woman in their lives. Phil, Ron, Peter and Randy I will always be there for all of you and I only wish we had more time with her. 

I was lucky enough to get to spend a lot of my younger years around Auntie Raye. I remember her sitting around the table laughing, having coffee and always letting me come sit on her lap to escape Randy tormenting me (lol) she would always put my barbies back together after they had been attacked by G.I Joe. I was lucky enough to get to travel with Auntie Raye to Vienna one summer and she didn't have to keep Randy and I apart as we had called a truce by then, so she just got to be my fun always willing to hold my hand Auntie Raye. There was never a question about the love she had for her boys, she was just a wonderful woman who will be so very missed. ❤️❤️

She was "Monde" to me because that's how she was introduced to me in July 1981 by my cousin Nancy. She was the first non relative I met when I moved to Edmonton. Nance took me to meet her. (I was overwhelmed with her house full of boys and the fact that she was raising them on her own!) We weren't friends that hung out but she felt like part of my life from that first meeting. Whenever we had Love Family gatherings, parties or get-togethers, I expected Monde to be there. She was part of the family. I feel Monde had an essence of peace in her soul. 🕊

Raye was a co-worker and after she retired I brought her back to work for me for a sport stint.   Not only was she a hard worker, but she had a great attitude and a willingness to help. Wonderful lady who is gone far far too soon.   Her passing hit me hard and a huge reminder to enjoy every day!  

I had the privilege of taking care of Randy and Terra's children, Charlee and Chase. So Raye was Grandma Raye to us. She had a bright warm smile that lit up a room. She was a kind, gentle lady. She just had a lovely disposition.  She loved her grandkids fiercely and we visited when she'd come to get the kids from time to time. The kids were always so excited to see and spend time with their Grandma Raye ♡♡♡ RIP wonderful lady! 

Her kindness gleamed through her smile & the way she lit up while she watched children play will never be forgotten.
To her friends & family May the warmth & light of her soul shine upon you during your darkest times. 


Raye was a co-worker and then became a good friend. She was always up for anything and so much fun. She was always smiling and laughing and she loved her sons with all her might and was so proud of them.  We  travelled together to Phoenix many times and we’d always stop in Las Vegas for a night or two. She loved it. I have so many wonderful memories of her.  A lovely person that will be greatly missed.  Thanks for live streaming the service.  

Raye was a wonderful person, I had the pleasure of meeting a number of times throughout the years. She was always so joyful and proud of her boys, and very loved by her boys. 
Raye will be missed by so many. Thoughts and prayers to the entire family.

Our deepest condolences go out to the family of Raymonde.  She was a very friendly person and was always happy to see people she knew.  I used to see her quite often in Canada Place where she and I (Joyce)worked.  She’d always take the time to say Hi and have a friendly chat with me.  When we would see each other in a mall she would come over and give me a big hug.  She’ll be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.  Rest In Peace, Raymonde, Eternal Memories. 💐🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

We met Raye  when her amazing son Randy met and fell in love with our Daughter Terra. , Raye and I hit it off immediately, had so many laughs and so fortunate to watch  Randy and Terra get married and   have two amazing grandkids for the both of us. which were the joy of Raye’s Life . We had some beautiful Christmas , Easter and birthday dinners together, I will always cherish the fantastic lady we were so fortunate to have gotten to know and love . 
You will be forever in our hearts. 

Auntie Raye was such an amazingly strong woman.  I will miss her laugh and awesome sense of humour.  She was the best godmother and she spoiled me always.  I’ll miss most having her join us for weekend card games, but we’ll keep her memory close by keeping ourselves warm with the many blankets she handmade for us over the years.  I love you auntie!

Ray was a huge part of my life growing up. She was like a second mom to me as our families grew up together.  My mom and her were best friends.  She was always there for me or kicking me in the butt when I needed it. A truly wonderful person. My heart goes out to the whole family and my thoughts are with you.
