Robert Neil McLellan

July 26, 1962 – February 11, 2026

Robert Neil McLellan of Edmonton, Alberta, formerly of Highland Village, Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026, at the age of 63.

Born in Truro to Charles and Barbara MacKinnon, McLellan. Robert was a father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother and uncle. He is survived by his sons, Robert (Megan) and Allan (Shelley); granddaughters Sierra(William) and Cheyanne (Erik); grandson Hunter; and great-granddaughter Wren. He also leaves behind his father, Charlie; siblings Carolann (Wayne), James (Cheryl), Darlene, Tanya (Glenn), and Wade (Carolyn); two nephews, five nieces; six great-nephews; and four great-nieces and one great-great-niece.

Robert was predeceased by his common-law wife, Cheryl, his mother Barbara, brother-in-law Brad, and nephew Gage.

A man of many talents, Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening, had a love for animals and was known for his skills as a handyman across all trades. He had a natural gift for making friends wherever he went and was always ready to lend a hand. His generosity, warmth, and easy friendship touched everyone who knew him.

Robert’s family and friends will remember him for his love, dedication, and the joy he brought to those around him. His legacy of kindness, hard work will live on through the generations he loved so dearly.

A service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert’s memory to a charity of your choice.
