On behalf of the whole BCBP in Canada and worldwide, I am honored to share about my dear friend Bro Ryan Ramos. I consider him, not just a brother in the BCBP Community but also a brother at work, having known him for many years as one of our top Property and Village Managers at the prestigious Peninsula de Punta Fuego resort development in the Philippines. Ryan is so good that he can always manage to address any complaints by our very demanding Clients, and of course, our bosses. He can always express his usual sincere and loud laughter despite so much pressures.  But he can deliver what is expected from him. He had a lot of contributions in the success of the Punta Fuego project.  He is a very strong but gentle and humble person with very soft heart.
We parted ways when he  migrated to Edmonton and I also transferred to another company and eventually migrated also to Canada.
And I was so happy, proud and thankful to God that we met again in the BCBP after so many years.  Ryan never changed. A hardworking person, soft hearted, a very good provider, a loyal friend and a true brother. He has a very happy family in Edmonton with Sis Catherine.  He immediately had a lot of friends in the BCBP and is faithfully doing a lot of services including mission works.
But God has other plans for him.  I was shocked and really cried when I got a call that Ryan is gone.  I cannot believe what happened to him. We had so many happy memories together. I will always miss Ryan especially if I visit Edmonton.  But I am sure, that with the prayers of our brothers and sisters in the BCBP, Ryan will surely be in Heaven.
I know, God will use Ryan to prepare the best place for all of us in Heaven.  We will just request God that He will not call us early.
Thank you so much Ryan for being a very good friend, and excellent co-worker and a co-member and servant in the BCBP.  We love you Ryan and we will remember you always.  May your memories be a blessing to all of us.

"I want to be your friend a little bit more.." The song plays as we move around. When it stops, we find a partner and ask each other the same question. I got partnered with Ryan and he asked me the question , "If you got one question to ask God, what will you ask Him?" Then I answered  Ryan playfully, "Lord, will you still bless me with a farm?" Ryan paused and his face turned serious when he heard my answer. And  I knew why. He really dreamt of having a small farm.

Bro Ryan was more than just a friend. He was our big brother in our community not based on his big physical body but his special dealings and relationship with us. He was so kind, generous, very understanding, patient, and offered his support and services to the BCBP community to the best he can. We shared countless memories with him, breakfast meetings, Christian Life Programs, Simbang gabi, food bank volunteering, tree planting, family camping and fellowship and our trips to Saskatoon for our mission services where his vibrant spirit and presence was truly recognized and appreciated.
I first met Bro Ryan when he joined the BCBP in 2019. One of my favorite memories with him was when we went to the farm to butcher a goat where he showed a heartwarming attitude. He cooked one of his favorite’s recipes for the goat that he called“Champenie”. That was my first time to taste this kind of food. But now no more Ryan, no more “Champenie”. He was a dedicated servant leader; his presence and contributions to the BCBP served as his legacy that remind us forever.
Bro Ryan has a unique ability to make everyone feel valued and loved. He was always there with a kind word, a listening ear, and an open heart. His generosity has no bounds, and his laughter and voice are readily recognized, filling the room with warmth and joy. Bro Ryan demonstrated his dedication and commitment to BCBP by performing his responsibilities as Program and Services Director and Breakfast Head. 
Bro Ryan taught me the sense of volunteerism, self-sacrifice, service-oriented person, being bold enough to express his thoughts, direct to the point and very vocal to his suggestions and decisions.
His untimely death created an impact to all the members of our BCBP community. He will forever part of our BCBP community. And that will never change.

Dear Kuya Ryan,
Kuya Ryan, its hard to believe you're gone, though our heart aches from loosing you, we find comfort that you are at peace in God's eternal home where pain and sorrow no longer exist.
We will miss you Kuya Ryan, you being generous  and being  kind to us. We will always remember your big smile that is so contagious. Thank you Kuya Ryan for allowing ate Catherine to help us, you are such a blessing to our family.

“Gentle Giant” — two words I can describe Ninong Ryan. He was not only a friend to my parents but a family to us. He has known my parents even before I was born and had a long time friendship that has passed on to us their children, my best friend — Kate. I know more of Ninong through her stories and shared conversations, because she is forever a daddy’s girl and that I think speaks volume of how great of a father he was. Not only that, it reflects how he makes my Ninang Cathy (my mom’s bff) happy, you know what kind of a person he was. 

Ninong Ryan has been my godfather from my baptism to my wedding — he was there in two of important events in my life. Hence, my husband Daniel and I, would be forever grateful and will cherish the moments forever. He was a cool and funny godfather as how I will remember him. 

To Ninong,  may you find eternal peace and comfort as you cross over to our creator’s haven. Heaven has gained another kind soul and an angel whom for sure will watch over my Ninang Cathy, my best friend Kate and the whole Ramos family. You will be missed and we love you! Keeping your bereaved family in our thoughts and prayers.

Ryan wasn’t just my best friend’s husband — he became family. He and Cathy stood beside us in life’s most important moments. They were the godparents of my daughter — from her baptism to her wedding day. That’s how deeply our lives were intertwined. 

Thank you, Ryan, for the love and friendship you shared so freely. You will always be remembered with love.

There are people who quietly make the world a better place just by being in it. Ryan was one of those rare souls.

I’ve known Cathy, Ryan's wife, since our college days. Through the years, we’ve shared laughter, milestones, and memories — and along the way, I got to know the man who made her heart feel at home.

Ryan was more than just a loving husband — he was a kind, humble, and generous man. He treated everyone with respect and warmth, and his quiet strength touched everyone who knew him.

Just when I thought that posting photos from different occasions didn’t really matter—that they were just pictures people liked without meaning, there I was, quietly looking up to you and Ninang Cathy, admiring your journey in married and family life. Yours wasn’t perfect (like anyone else’s), but Ninong Ryan’s sudden passing hit me hard. It made me realize how important it is to simply be happy… to enjoy every single moment with the people around us. To spend time with family. To take photos, even of the small things because you never know if one of those people you spend time with will still be there tomorrow.
Just last month, Ian, the kids, and I had visited you. We were laughing, joking around, talking, and hugged  tightly before we said goodbye… little did we know it would be the last time.
When we heard the news that you had left us, Ninong Ryan, we were deeply saddened. We cried of the sad news but above all for the family you left behind, especially for Ninang Cathy, whom we know you loved dearly. You were always together on Sundays, during travels, at every occasion and birthday. I can’t even begin to decipher  the pain she’s feeling, or how hard it must have been for you to leave her behind.
My heart aches with this loss. Gone too soon. Rest well now, Ninong, in God’s loving arms

Bro. Ryan — or Bro. Cong, as my husband and I fondly call him — was a man of few words, but whenever he spoke, his words carried wisdom and stature. His unwavering service to God, and his deep love and devotion to his family, will always be an inspiration to many. Rest in God’s loving arms, our dear Bro. Ryan. Please rest assured that we will continue to love and honor your family in the best way we can.

To Kuya Ryan and Family,
I am very sorry to hear the sudden passing of one of the kindest person I have met in my life.   Kuya Ryan is my landlord here in Terra Losa for 3 years.   I am always late on my  rent payment but Kuya Ryan always says to me “it’s ok just give me the date for your next payment so I can put a note”.
I will missed you Kuya the ulam , the bitso-bitso and simple things I gave you that you always appreciated.   This past months I am not well due to the recent diagnosis of my 10 year old daughter that has autism having a cancer and I came to see you at the office crying and you said to me “ everything will be fine always think positive and always pray”. 
Kuya Ryan you just like a father figure to me I am really sad of your sudden passing  I will never forget all the helped you have given me.  Rest in peace.
