Sandra Suet Fun Hum

January 17, 1952-April 25, 2013

Sandra passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 25, 2013 in Edmonton, AB with her family by her side. She is survived by her loving husband, Tom of 37 years; sons, Tanton Hum and Nathan Hum (Linda); mother-in-law, Wai Oi Tom; mother, Wai Ying Chan; brothers, Thomas Yuen (Anita) and Peter Yuen (Amy); sisters, Peggy Young (Kong Lin), Roxanna Ho (Hong), and Julianna Lau (Ernie); numerous nephews and nieces.

She was born and educated in Hong Kong, and moved to Regina, SK in 1976 to marry her true love Tom. Everyone would agree that Sandra was a kind, generous, loving and cheerful person. There was never a dull moment in her life as she led an extremely active lifestyle. Her love for shopping, travelling, cruising, and beautiful purses, has taken her around the world buying handbags to go with those perfect shoes. Sandra loved to sing and performed with the Regina Chinese Singers, Golden Edge Singers, and attended weekly karaoke parties with friends that ran into the wee hours of the night. She enjoyed dancing and performed as a Chinese cultural dancer at numerous events and competitions. She also loved ballroom dancing, especially the Rumba, Tango, Waltz, and Cha Cha. Above all she loved her husband, children and daughter-in-law who will miss her dearly.
