Hello Alex, I was deeply saddened to hear about Sharon and please accept my heartfelt condolences.  Working with Sharon in Edmonton was a highlight of my career and what I learned from Sharon continues to benefit me and those I work with on a daily basis.  The many people she taught and mentored will be part of her legacy for many years to come.

It was a true pleasure working with Sharon for many years at Alberta Health. I will always remember and acknowledge her wisdom, humor, and warmth. She was a great leader and will be deeply missed by all.

My deepest condolences to you Alex. It was my privilege to work with Sharon for several years at Alberta Health. Her wisdom, humour, warmth and integrity was in evidence in everything she did and for everyone with whom she interacted. I so appreciated her insight and compassion.

Sharon was pivotal in my younger years of what became a career in public service.  Kind, sage, and wise, we had many conversations about the complications and complexities of government functions. She was sharp, she was fair, and she was a friend in a mixed up madcap sea of ever-changing politics. I'll always be thankful for the chance to work with and know her.  I hope that wherever she is she's found peace and, finally, a place where  she can rest. Thank you Sharon.

Al I am so sad. I had no idea of Sharon’s passing. She was my friend, mentor and confidant. I loved her and always appreciated her words of wisdom and guidance. I will desperately miss her support and our times together over many years.  I always enjoyed our early morning coffee chats when I first started at Alberta Health and having the chance to visit you both in Kelowna. We had our lunch dates here in Edmonton.
