

Shirley is greatly missed and always remembered by her loving husband Reg, their children and their partners Susan (Dave), Brian (Jo-Ann), Maureen (Jason) as well as eight grandchildren and their partners; Ashley (Ricky), Aaron (Sasha), Devren (Sophiane), Janessa (Greg), Kayla (Ted), Tyler (Erin), Tyson, Colton (Audrey) and nine great grandchildren. She is also loving remembered by her four sisters Gladys, Isabelle, Evelyn, Irene, one brother Wilfred as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Shirley was predeceased by her father and mother, Fred and Alma Attfield and her two brothers Stanley and Gordon. She was known for her kind and compassionate nature, her love of her family, and her faith. She
lived a life that was totally committed to God. Shirley was a generous soul, always preparing a meal, lending a hand, or extending a welcome. Shirley’s family was her pride and joy and she was an excellent role model to everyone who knew her. Many have enjoyed the benefits of her creative and generous spirit. Her wings were ready long before our hearts ever would have been.
A funeral service to celebrate Shirley’s life will be held at Memories Funeral Home, 13403 St. Albert Trail Edmonton on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 10:00 am with a reception to follow. A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 16102 Fort Road Edmonton, AB for immediate and extended family as well as close friends following the reception.
