She leaves her son Brian (Yvette): grandchildren; Cheryl, Murray, Renee, Elise and Adam; 5 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Rene and her son Edd.
Sophie was born in Musidora Alberta in 1928. She and her husband Rene moved to Edmonton in 1957. Sophie was a keypunch operator and stenographer for the Alberta government until she retired. Sophie had many interests including gardening, cooking, canning, needlepoint, and sewing. She loved socializing with family and friends playing cards, darts, bingo, removing money from Casinos and was active with the Canadian legion.
Sophie was hard working but laughed easily and was always ready to join in for work or fun.
We will miss her. Remember her as she was. She loved you all.
