Dr. Stanley Allan Olson

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Gloria; his children, David, Laurie (Todd) and Susan (John). His grandchildren, Nicholas, Devyn, Kobe, Jackson, Mattia, and Brenna, will dearly miss him. They were the love of his life and they all have many special memories of him. He will be fondly remembered by many extended family members, friends, colleagues; and especially his siblings, Jim, Marcia, Marie, Ruth; brother-in-law Leroy, brother- in- law Bob (Gail); and many special nephews and nieces.

Stan dedicated his life to his family, community and profession. He was a pioneer and advocate for Anesthesia in Alberta for almost 50 years. Stan was always the happiest when he saw the joy in the eyes of others.

He was predeceased by his parents, Florence and Luther Olson; and sister, Dianne Johnson.

We would like to thank the staff and doctors of the Hematology Outpatient Dept. at the University of Alberta Hospital for their compassion and dedication in their care of Stan during his many hours of blood transfusions.

Stan wanted a party, so a celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday April 4, 2017 @ 2:30 PM at Hainstock’s Funeral Home, 9810-34 Avenue, Edmonton.
