On Monday, October 20th, 2025, Valerie Margaret Stewart of St. Albert, Alberta, passed away peacefully at the University of Alberta Hospital.
Valerie is survived by her sons, Mitchell (Melodie) and Greg (Bev), as well as five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Marian, Carol (Lloyd Love), Sharon (Bill Gano), and Debbie (Norman Nichols), and her brother Richard (Mary Congdon).
Valerie was predeceased by her husband Gary of almost 68 years earlier in 2025, and her brother, Harvey Congdon.
Valerie touched the lives of many people, was loved by all, and will never be forgotten.
A Celebration of Life for Valerie will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Memories Funeral Home, 13403 St. Albert Trail in Edmonton, Alberta.
