William “Willie” Donald Ritchie suddenly passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at the age of 40 years. Willie will be greatly missed by his loving family; mother Mary, brothers, Scott (Daria), Andrew (Janelle) and Robert (Shaileen Campbell). He will be forever cherished by his loving grandparents, William and Anne Ritchie. He will be lovingly remembered by his nephews Logan, Cameron and Noah as well as his niece Aleah. Predeceased by his father, William Ritchie.
Willie was known for being passionate and skillful whether it was gardening, fishing or carpentry. He was a red seal carpenter, following in his father’s footsteps and could whittle anything out of wood. He recently had begun his own carpentry business: “Will Do It Right Construction”. He also loved hockey, a passion he shared with his father and brothers. He grew up playing hockey in Scotland for the Inverness Senators, a team his father coached. Him and his brothers played in many tournaments and often made the newspapers. Being an avid Edmonton Oilers fan only broadened his love for hockey and he cheered them on for many games with his family. Willie shared his smiling face with many friends and family and will be deeply missed.
