Carol Froncak was born on March 16, 1950 to Stanley and Mary Froncak in Middletown, Connecticut. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Middletown, Connecticut on June 19, 1968. She was one of 5 children, she grew up next door to her cousin Patty who was her best friend for her entire life.
Carol was joined in marriage to Robert Federico in 1970 and they had two daughters, Melissa and Jackie. They lived in Connecticut until 1978 when they moved to Springfield, Massachusetts.
Carol had a great life in Springfield with her family that she loved more than anything. She taught religious education and was a brownie mom for Jackie. She loved to sew and make arts and crafts to give to her family and sell at craft shows. Carol loved to cook and always had a hot meal on the table at 5:00 sharp every night. She loved to spend time with her cousin Patty and the two families would go on vacation together every year.
Carol started out as a receptionist at an optometrist office and by the time she retired in 2016 she was running the office as a technician and insurance biller.
Carol and Bob moved to Santee in 2016 to retire and to be close to family. She loved Santee and made a warm, lovely home.
Carols greatest accomplishment in her life was her 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren. She loved to go shopping, play games, do jigsaw puzzles and watch UConn girls basketball. She loved cheering on her granddaughters and was so proud of her grandsons.
Grateful to have known and loved Carol are her husband Bob Federico; her daughters Melissa (Jim) Even of Sioux Falls, SD and Jackie (Tom) Lowery of Lakeside, CA; her grandchildren, Jimmy and Jay Even and Hannah and Macie Lowery; and her cousin Patty Noble of Portland, CT. Carol was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings.
