She participated in Toastmasters, and her most recent passion for the last twelve years was her involvement with the San Diego Chapter of The Garden of Innocence (a non-profit organization that provides dignified burials for abandoned children).
Carol loved social outings, music, playing cards, watching TV, and spending time watching her grandchildren participate in school activities, band, and sports. Carol was a huge professional football fan and loved the San Diego Chargers and attended many games in person. She was an active fantasy football league player.
Carol collected everything Garfield and anyone who had been invited to her home saw the presence of Garfield in every room. Family and friends will miss her!
