Edith Sue Rose, née Buchta, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2018. She is survived by a caring family including many nieces, nephews, and stepchildren in California, and siblings in Pennsylvania. She was born in Webster, PA on November 17, 1936. Edie has been a resident of Alpine, CA for over 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby L. Rose in 1998.
Edith worked as a legal secretary in San Diego until her retirement. She will be remembered fondly by all the lives she touched throughout the years. A memorial service will be held at Reformation Lutheran Church on South Johnson in El Cajon on January 15th at 7pm. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you contribute to a favorite charity in her honor.
