Kaimen Thomas Edwardson, born in Dallas, Texas, came into this world on September 7, 2009 at 7:46am. He was given to his father Sean Joseph Edwardson and his mother Erica Anna Edwardson. He is survived by his parents and his brother Ellis Alexander Edwardson. Also his, maternal grandmother Anne Oliver, maternal grandfather Thomas James, paternal grandmother Michelle Edwardson, paternal grandfather John Edwardson, uncles: Tyler James (wife Kendra), Adam Edwardson (wife Britney), and Jacob Edwardson (wife Amanda). His beloved cousins, Emma Rollins, Wesley Edwardson, Krysti Edwardson, Sean J Edwardson, Adam Jr Edwardson, and Penelope James.
Kaimen was full of life and was a master negotiator. He enjoyed music, Legos, America Ninja Warrior, and of course… SLIME. He brightened any room he walked into. He was a little boy with a BIG personality and he never met a stranger. He was the best at cuddling and enjoyed sleeping in on the weekends with his dad. He attended 2nd grade at Community Montessori Charter School. Although he was a student, being a super villain was his true calling. He was a lover of ancient civilizations, ancient Egypt in particular, he could tell you any fact about ancient Egypt with pride. He was a free spirit and always talked about going to different countries and trying different foods, especially spicy food.
Kaimen spent his days being homeschooled by his mother, going to church and then later being the ring leader of his block. He was a friend to many children and understood what it meant to show empathy for another person. If someone was hurting, he was trying to pick you up to make you feel better. He was excited when his brother, Ellis, came home for the first time but that faded when he realized he had a LOT of sharing to do. He loved his brother dearly though and made sure and made sure that everyone knew HE was the big brother and that was HIS baby.
Most importantly, Kaimen loved his Lord. Kaimen fought very hard and had a life that most adults have never experienced, but, he never, not once, complained. He knew where his home was. He would tell us that Jesus would give him a new heart; he always knew. He was called home on October 17, 2017, peacefully at home. Our lives will never be the same without Kaimen, but we find comfort in knowing that Kaimen is sitting right beside Jesus and has been made new.
