Karen Kathleen Fox (nee Boehner), 74, of Spring Valley, died suddenly on December 13th. Karen was born June 16, 1942 in Watsonville, California to Gladys Boehner. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed. Karen was a long time resident of San Diego, having moved there in 1969 after marrying John Brian Fox.
Karen married John Brian Fox on June 8, 1968. Karen strongly supported John through his 21 year career in the U.S. Navy, to include deployments to Vietnam and multiple duty stations. Karen was also a dental assistant for 12 years. She devoted herself to her family and was extremely proud of the individual accomplishments of her sons, John and Frank.
Karen is survived by her husband, John, her son John and granddaughter Alexa, and her son Frank, daughter in law Michelle and their granddaughters Mia and Lahna. She will be missed forever.
Services will be held on Dec 21, 10am at Santa Sophia Catholic Church. A reception will be held following the services. It is requested that any donations be made to Hospice Care of San Diego in her honor.
