Matti is survived by his spouse, Sarah Yalda Toma; his son Bassam Yousif; his son Ghasan Yousif; his daughter Lubna Yousif; his daughter Luma Yousif; and his daughter Basmaa Yousif; his brother Daniel Bahnam, his brother Georges Bahnam, his brother Shaba Bahnam, his brother Elishaba Bahnam and his sister Catrine Bahnam.

A funeral service for Matti will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Syriac Catholic Church, 1101 S Mollison Ave, El Cajon, CA 92020. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery & Mausoleum, 4470 Hilltop Dr, San Diego, CA 92102.

Matti will be laid to rest in Holy Cross Cemetery, 4470 Hilltop Drive, San Diego, CA 92102.
