Michael Jacob Hitchrick

Michael was born in Dickinson, North Dakota. He was the son of John and Barbara Hitchrick. In 1957, he graduated from Dickinson High School, joined the Navy and married Lorraine. He spent 20 years in the Navy, stationed in San Diego Ca., Oceana and Norfolk Va. He continued to work for several Government contractors and fully retired in 2004.

Michael belonged to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Lakeside Ca. and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of Fleet Reserve Association in Lakeside Ca.

He will be remembered for being a loving husband, father and grandpa.

He is survived by his wife Lorraine, daughters Sandra Franks, Shelly (Raymond) Dexter, Sheryl (Daniel) Raymond, 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, brothers David (Margie) Hitchrick and Terry (Linda) Hitchrick. He was predeceased by daughter Mary Ann and parents John and Barbara Hitchrick.

Celebration of Life will be at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 13208 Lakeshore Dr. Lakeside, Ca. 92040. Viewing and Rosary to begin at 10:00am, Funeral mass and reception, to follow at 11:00am.
