Noori Hirmiz Shamaan passed on March 29, 2026, at the age of 91. Born October 1, 1934, in El Cajon, he was a resident of El Cajon, California, and is survived by his spouse, Faten Shamaan; his children, Hadeel Shamaan, Manhal Shamaan, and Morooj Shamaan; his sister, Sabeha Shamaan; his brothers, Talal Shamaan, Kamla Shamaan, and Sabah Shamaan; and 6 Grandchildrens; and was preceded in death by his sisters, Gladis Shamaan, Layla Shamaan, and Alberteen Shamaan, and his brothers, Albeer Shamaan and Joseph Shamaan.

A Funeral Service will be held at St. Joseph Chaldean Catholic Church, 3348 Sweetwater Springs Blvd, Spring Valley, CA 91977, US, on April 2, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm.

A Committal Service will be held at St. Joseph Chaldean Catholic Church, 3348 Sweetwater Springs Blvd, Spring Valley, CA 91977, US, on April 2, 2026, at 1:15 pm.
