Patrick Gerald Washabaugh

He was born in Bay City, MI, on January 15, 1969, to Geraldine M. and the late E. Peter Washabaugh, Jr. Pat moved with his family to San Diego in 1983. He graduated from Valhalla high School in 1987 and then continued his studies at San Diego State University, receiving his Bachelor's degree in 1991 and his Master's degree in 1993, both in Computer Science.

Pat was a beloved member of the community. He was passionate about biking and relished in sharing his talents for baking and organic gardening. Pat also loved his pets and enjoyed movies, tinkering, and reading as well as spending time with his family.

Pat is lovingly remembered by his mother, Geraldine of El Cajon; his brothers Michael (Philadelphia, PA), Peter (Ann Arbor, MI), Edward (Ann Arbor, MI) and Andrew (Chula Vista, CA) as well as their spouses: nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives.

Pat is preceded in death by his father, E Peter Washabaugh, Jr.

A viewing will be held at El Cajon Mortuary on Friday, October 7, 2016 from 9-11 a.m. The Mass of Resurrection will be said at Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. with Father Eddie Ruiz celebrating, and cremation immediately following.
