Ryan is survived by his father, Stewart “Pops” Wasson; sister, Alex “Alpy” Wasson; brother, Logan “Logman” Wasson and his dog LeeLou. He is preceded in death by his mother, Lisa Morgan Wasson.
Ryan was born on April 20, 1988 in Connecticut to Lisa and Stewart. Early on, Ryan could be seen with a camera in his hands and eventually turned that passion into a career. Looking through the lens, he would see things differently, creating memories for people to enjoy throughout their lives. He was in his element and masterful when the lens and eye became one. He often mentioned that the camera always ‘had his back’ and ironically it was always in his backpack. This was one of his greatest joys in life.
His hobbies included cars, Batman and all things comics, movies, gaming, and tagging. Cars were a close second to his camera. He loved all types, but the turbo charged scene was his passion. He could often be found tinkering with his car and chillin with his friends. He cherished all of his relationships, never losing contact and always wanting them to hang out.
When they were chilling out, you could constantly hear him talking about his family, like telling his little brother to go Shred Gnar on a game he was playing or to his sister in the middle of creating one of her paintings. He could talk for hours and was all in when he had someone’s attention. He had a flare and a uniqueness that captivated you individually or in a crowd.
Ryan wanted everyone to be happy and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. In fact, just last week, he walked by someone needing shoes and gave them his own. He believed every moment should be pushed to the limits to achieve happiness and wanted everyone to GET LOUD - that was our Ryan! And as he would say, Shred Gnar!
We love you! We miss you! We will see you again!
