UN MESSAGE DE LA FAMILLE
In Loving Memory of Sharon Ann Herbert January 5, 1946 – January 31, 2024 With heavy hearts and cherished memories, we announce the passing of Sharon Ann Herbert, a devoted wife, loving mother, adoring grandmother, and cherished friend, who left this world peacefully at home on January 31, 2024, at the age of 78. Born on January 5, 1946, Sharon lived a life full of warmth, laughter, and unwavering love. She was the beloved wife of Lawrence Brandon Herbert, married 37 years, with whom she shared a beautiful life of partnership, adventure, and devotion. Together, they built a family rooted in love and support. Sharon’s legacy shines brightly through her children: Shellie Ann D’Onofrio, Nicole Allison Richardson, and son Zachary James Richardson and his wife Rua Richardson. She was a proud and loving Grandma/Momo to her ten grandchildren—Dominic, Giovanni, Hailey, Samuel, Tyler, Michael, Savannah, Brett, Belle and Briar Rose—and two precious great-grandchildren. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she found immense joy in watching them grow, thrive, and make their own marks on the world. For over two decades, Sharon owned and operated Coastal Choice Properties in the vibrant Mission Beach area of San Diego. With grace, integrity, and a strong entrepreneurial spirit, she helped countless families find their place to call home, leaving a lasting mark on her community and clients alike. Beyond her professional success, Sharon found happiness in life’s simple pleasures—gardening with a green thumb, getting lost in a good book, and traveling the world hand-in-hand with her beloved husband. But above all, she treasured the moments spent surrounded by her family. Sharon’s spirit, strength, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She taught us the importance of family, the value of hard work, and the joy of giving fully from the heart. A private celebration of life will be held to honor Sharon’s memory. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor her by planting something beautiful, reading a story to a child, or simply spending time with those you love—just as she always did. She was our heart, our anchor, and our sunshine. And though we will miss her beyond measure, we are comforted by the love she gave us and the legacy she leaves behind. Rest easy, Mom. You were deeply loved, and you will be forever missed. A Lifetime was not long enough....
