Born on January 26, 1949 in El Dorado, AR; she was the daughter of John C. and Josephine Ricketts McCall. Carol graduated from San Francisco State University and began her education career in California and Arkansas. She enjoyed working in her garden and fishing. Carol was a spiritual person who always saw the good in everyone. Carol was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors are her loving husband of 22 years Jon A. Hermsen of Mount Holly, AR, a uncle Ware Rickets of Mt Juliet, TN and her faithful canine companion Blue.
The family will receive friends Monday from 2 pm to 3 pm at Young’s Funeral Directors with cremation following.
