She was a homemaker, enjoyed playing tennis, water aerobics and traveling. Carolyn was treasurer for her Sunday school class and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband EJ Langley; brother Charles Hearne; two infant children Marla and Catherine Langley.
She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth "Libby" Knox; son Andrew "Andy" Langley (Michelle); grandchildren Dylan Knox (Jamie), Lacy Knox, Andrea Carter (Giles) and Drew Langley; great grandchildren Cohen Knox and Delaney Carter; sisters-in-laws Dottie Hearne and Peggy Pierce (Larry) and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be Saturday August 16, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Young’s Funeral Directors chapel with burial following at Oakland Memorial Cemetery at Fordyce, Arkansas.
