She was born July 30, 1927, to George Ellis and Audrey Bell Smith Witherington in El Dorado, AR. Catherine worked as a beautician and was of the Baptist faith.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Elmer Louis Brady; several sisters; and a brother.
Survivors include her two sons, Bryan Brady (Teresa) of Junction City, Greg Brady (Angela) of El Dorado; and eight grandchildren, Mason True, Bryce Brady, Shaeli Brady, Alivia Brady, Hayley Brady, Hayden Brady, Avery Brady, and Katelyn Brady.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 12, 2017, at Mount Union Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm. Friday, January 13, 2017, at Mount Union Baptist Church with Rev. John Ayers officiating. Burial will follow at Beech Grove Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
