Colvin "Billy" R. Agerton

He was an iron worker and a member of Green Grove Chapel. He loved hunting, fishing, vegetable gardening, and most of all he loved his family. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Preceding him in death are his parents; brother, James O. Agerton; and two great grandchildren, Easton Rhodes, and Rosalyn Kate Agerton.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita Webb Agerton; sons, Gary Agerton (Cherry), Jerry Agerton (Sandy); daughter, Kay Cain (Mickey) all of Strong; brother, Mike Agerton of Urbana; seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, ten great, great grandchildren; and a host of friends and relatives.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday, May 7, 2017, at Green Grove Chapel.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 8, 2017, at the church with Rev. Ricky Smith and Rev. Colby Agerton officiating. Burial will follow at Green Grove Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Memorials may be made to Green Grove Chapel or to Green Grove Cemetery Fund.
