Courtney brought so much joy and laughter to all who knew her. She had a passion for many things including makeup, art, & music. She could often be found with a sketchbook in hand, creating beautiful masterpieces or working on her future career with music. When she was not busy with those hobbies you would find Courtney extending herself with her creative and beautiful makeup skills that’s she enjoyed so much or making her hair the colors of the rainbow.
Growing up Courtney Jean was always known as our “toot toot”. That nickname stuck with her and the older she got the more she would blush over it but deep down it always brought back wonderful childhood memories for her and all of us.
Courtney was a fighter, a warrior and survivor and she will be remembered for all the good she accomplished in this world along with everything she overcame that life had to throw at her.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother; Cavylon Collins.
She is survived by her son, John Xavier Miller, who was the light of her life and brought her immense happiness. She was also survived by her mother, Carly Swearengin; father, Vincent Damon Swearengin; sister, Kaylee Cavylon Swearengin; brothers, Brandon Swearengin and Christopher Blake Swearengin; brother-in-law, Austin Heath Sant; sister-in-law, Jaqueline Kay Mayhay-Swearengin; nephew, James Tyler Swearengin; uncle, Lance Swearengin; loving friend, Autumn Smith; and many loving friends and extended family. Courtney's spirit and creativity will live on through her son and the memories she shared with her loved ones.
Though she may no longer be with us, Courtney will always be remembered for her bright smile, infectious laughter, and kind heart. Rest in peace, Courtney. You will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, December 24, 2024 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Young's Funeral Directors in the Chapel.
