

Curtis Jerome Nunnally, 82, of Strong, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. He was born August 19, 1931, to Isaac Clay and Ruby Pagan Nunnally in Strong, AR.
Jerome was a member of the First United Methodist Church in El Dorado, AR where he served as a long time usher. He retired from Amoco Research Center in Naperville, IL after 37 years of service. He was a lifetime member of the United Methodist Church, a life member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and an Endowment Life member of the National Rifle Association. Jerome was a 50+ year member of Union Lodge #750 F&AM in El Dorado, AR and a member of Crossett Lodge #576 in Crossett, AR. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner.
Preceding him in death are his parents and sister, Lynda Hayes Strother.
Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Dolores Burns Nunnally of Strong; daughter, Jo Lynn Nunnally Blair (Gerald) of Wheaton, IL; grandson, Michael Shawn Blair of Oswego, IL; granddaughter, Kelly Lyn Kukla (Stephen) of Winfield, IL; several loving nieces and nephews; and special friend Nelois Green.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2013, at Young’s.
A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Strong Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 2, 2013, at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Keith Dodson officiating.
