Dorothy Daniels

She was born to Bert and Cora Dixon in Waldo, Arkansas, on July 10, 1923.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister and two brothers.

She is survived by her three children, James “Jim” Aycock, Smackover, Arkansas; Doris Bates, Duncan, Oklahoma; Julie “Myrlean” Davis, Diamondhead, Mississippi; three grandsons, Bobby Patterson, Wichita, Kansas; Greggory L. Daniels, Diamondhead, Mississippi; James R. Aycock, Smackover, Arkansas; five great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Bible Baptist Church. She was employed by Warner Brown Hospital for many years in the Emergency Room.

She was a dear loving mother, and she will be missed by all. We loved her dearly.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, December 2, 2013, at Young’s Chapel with Bro. J. D. Weido officiating. Interment will follow at Smackover Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Visitation will be from 12-2pm Monday, prior to the service.
