Born July 7, 1942, in Union County, AR, she was the daughter of Kelley & Ida Sandifer Garner. Dorothy was a homemaker, and a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Marcell Smith, and Vernell Tanton; good friend and companion, Howard McGowen.
Survivors are her sister, Idell Waller of Junction City; one brother, Julius Garner (Jean); special cousin, Juanita Bryant (W.L.) of Junction City; and numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 P.M. tonight at Young’s Funeral Directors.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, November 28, 2014, at Jolley Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors with Rev. R.L. Dison, Jr. officiating.
