She is survived by the love of her life, husband David Whaley. She is also survived by her adoring daughter Jessica Whaley; loving mother, Edythe; and many beloved friends. She is preceded in death by her brothers David Keith Bowman and Larry Eugene Bowman, Jr.
Edyie lived a life filled with lots of accomplishments and adventures, but her proudest achievement was her family. She never met a stranger, loved fiercely, and had a generous, compassionate heart. She will be missed by many.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family would be honored by a donation in Edyie‘s name to the Union County Animal Protection Society (ucapsshelter.org).
