

He was a floral designer and appeared at the Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas Conventions as a guest designer. After retiring from the florist, Herman worked for the Texas Highway Department as an inspector at the Lion Oil Refinery. He loved hunting and fishing. Herman was a member of the El Dorado Civitan Club and was of the Baptist faith.
Preceding him in death are his parents.
Survivors include his former wife & friend, Patsy Chandler; daughter, Lou Ann Chandler Bradham both of El Dorado; son, Dwayne R. Chandler (Karla) of Eureka, CA; two granddaughters, Bridgett Bradham Stone (Travis), Brittany Bradham Livingston (Aaron) both of El Dorado; four great grandchildren, Isabella, Chandler, Logan, and Tennyson; brother, Paul Chandler of Magnolia; and two nephews, Dr. Rodney Chandler of Texarkana, TX, and David Chandler of North Carolina.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014, in the Chapel at Young’s Funeral Directors with Rev. Keith Dodson officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Livingston residence at 415 Maple Hill Dr. in El Dorado.
