Born July 22, 1922 in El Dorado, she was the daughter of Perry Franklin and Mary Eula Owens Mason. Mrs. Primm was a homemaker and a lifelong member of Hopewell Baptist Church. She was one of only two students to finish all 12 grades at the Hopewell School.
Preceding her in death along with her parents were her husband, Earl Dean Primm, a son, Donald Earl Primm, brothers, Benjamin Franklin Mason, William Ela Mason, and Perry Wade Mason and a sister, Mamie Ethel Barksdale.
Survivors include a son, James Wade Primm of Benton, AR, a daughter, Mary Jean Murray of Bryant, AR and a sister-in-law, Carleen Barksdale Taylor of El Dorado, AR. Surviving grandchildren are Jana Peairson, Phillip Primm, Jonathan Murray and Chris Murray along with 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Primm will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, September 10, 2021 at Young’s Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Hopewell Baptist Church with Rev. Grant Barnett officiating. Interment will follow in Hopewell Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
