She married Frankie D. Tolley on February 24, 1961. She as a member of First Baptist Church in Smackover, AR, where she had been active in the Rosa King Sunday School Class, Prayer Warriors, Library and JOY Club.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Frankie D. Tolley, three brothers, James A. (Jim) Mitchell, Jr., Billy Mitchell, and Van Duane Mitchell; and a sister, Mary McDonald.
She is survived by two sisters, Shirley James of Clinton, LA, and Lynnette Driggers of Calhoun, Louisiana; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 27, 2021 at Young's Chapel. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until service time. A private burial will be under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
