Born on July 8, 1938 in Harlan, KY; he was the son of Jack and Oxie Capps Fox. Jack served in the Navy and was a retired electrician. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons and stepsons Denny and Gary Shackleford.
Survivors are his wife of 46 years, Deanna Shepherd Shackleford Fox; a son, Rick Fox; a step son, Kenny Shackleford; step daughters, Cheri Hazelwood, Shelia Hanson, Vickie Sue Shackleford and Cathy Wallace.
Cremation services were provided by Young's Funeral Directors. The family will have a memorial services at a later date.
