James Herbert Harbour

Born August 15, 1929 in El Dorado, he was the son of Thurmon Bruce and Ophelia Parris Harbour. Mr. Harbour was an electrician and a member of East Main Baptist Church. Mr. Harbour served his country during the Korean Conflict.

Preceding him in death along with his parents, was a brother Rudy Harbour and a sister, Dorothy Martin.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Lena Ruth Lewis Harbour, a son, Jim Harbour, Jr. (Pam) of Hot Springs Village, a daughter, Lynn Jones (Terry) of El Dorado along with brothers, Charles Harbour (Julia) of El Dorado and Roy Harbour (Geraldine). Surviving grandchildren are Jennifer Lowery, Caleb Jones, Stephanie Bearden, Ben Harbour, and 9 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, September 24, 2021 at Young's.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 25, at East Main Baptist Church with Dr. Benjy McCann officiating. Interment will follow in Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
