

She was a member of College Avenue Church of Christ, and was a homemaker. Jeanne was Valedictorian of her graduating class at Harrison High School. She enjoyed cake decorating, cooking, crafts, playing Bridge, and was a Master Gardener. Most of all she was a wife, mother, and grandmother, who loved to attend her grandchildren’s softball games and their other activities.
Preceding her in death, are her father, Crawford Hames; son, Kendall “Ken” Stuart Ball; and half-brother, Mark Hames.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Buddy Ball of El Dorado; daughter, Suzy Cherry (Jay) of Searcy, AR; mother and step-father, Marie and I. W. Hudson of Harrison, AR; four grandchildren, Ian Cherry (Jennifer) Megan Cherry, Rachel Ball, Rebekah Ball; three great grandchildren, Noah Cherry, Lydia Cherry, Abigail Cherry; two sisters, Donna Potts (Tom), Ann Hames; two step-sisters, Janith Blackwell, Joetta Shaffer; two half-sisters, Diana Hames, Jackie (Nick) Espinoza; and half-brother, Richard Hames.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2016, at Young’s Funeral Directors.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at College Avenue Church of Christ Family Life Center with Kent Jobe, Jason Baker and Gary Schloemer officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ian Cherry, Nic Cole, Jay Cherry, Larry McKinnon, Mickey McKinnon and Bill Evans. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Tom Potts and Ryan Reeves.
